
Prepare the following:
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup soft brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup nuts, chopped ( pecans, walnuts, or almonds)

Cream the sugars with the butter until light and fluffy.

Add the egg, vanilla, flour and baking soda.

Stir until combined.

Mix in the chocolate and nuts.

Drop by tablespoons onto trays, leaving room for cookies to spread out.

Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from oven and cool. Store in an airtight container.

Yummy, fresh cookies. Pour yourself a tall cool one and enjoy!
